More than 1,000 guests. One electric room. $219,000 raised for mental health across Western Australia.

The annual Happiness Gala once again brought together business leaders, community champions and change-makers for a night that blended celebration with purpose — and we were proud to help bring it to life.

Held at Optus Stadium, the evening was defined by connection, generosity and a shared commitment to strengthening mental health initiatives across our community. From powerful keynote moments to high-energy entertainment, the program balanced meaning with momentum, creating a space where joy and impact co-existed.

Project Highlights:

• The Visuals Stole the Show: A custom-built LED DJ booth for DJ Shann became a centrepiece of the night, fully integrated into the room-wide vision package. The booth wasn’t just a feature — it was synchronised with LED screens, lighting and content across the entire space, creating a seamless visual environment that elevated the energy from the first beat to the final track.
• High-energy Entertainment: From Proof the Band to DJ Shann, the entertainment kept the dancefloor packed. Coordinated visuals and lighting ensured the atmosphere transitioned seamlessly from formal gala to full celebration.
• Mental Health Awareness: Behind the glamour was a deeper mission. Funds raised throughout the evening will directly support mental health programs and initiatives across WA, showing the power of events to create community impact.

PAV’s Role:

From technical design and LED integration to audio and lighting delivery, our team worked closely with Happiness Co and our event partners to ensure every element of the night flowed seamlessly.

The custom LED DJ booth was a particular highlight, designed not as a standalone feature, but as part of a unified visual experience. By integrating it into the broader content and lighting system, we ensured the entire room felt immersed in a vibrant experience.

It was also a special evening for our crew. With a PAV table in the room, we celebrated alongside clients, partners and suppliers — including the Happiness Co team, who deliver mental health programs for our own staff. Having seen their impact firsthand, supporting this event carries even greater meaning for us.
