Honouring ANZAC Day 2025 with Seamless Event Delivery Across Perth

Honouring ANZAC Day 2025 with Seamless Event Delivery Across Perth

In 2025, we were honoured to support ANZAC Day commemorations across the City of Perth — not just with AV and technical expertise, but with full end-to-end event management across five of the city’s key services and community activations.

“A few hours of commemorations… 8 to 10 months of hard work and planning.”
– Lee Williams, General Manager, PAV

Project Highlights:

  • End-to-end planning across five major events
  • Seamless delivery of AV, staging & production
  • Iconic locations brought to life with respectful storytelling

A National Day of Remembrance

ANZAC Day marks the Gallipoli landings of 1915 — a defining chapter in our history, and a day to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and mateship that have come to symbolise the ANZAC spirit.

Working in close partnership with RSLWA and the City of Perth, our team played a central role in delivering five moving tributes across 24–25 April — each one thoughtfully staged to reflect the dignity of the occasion and the diversity of those attending.

Behind the Scenes: How PAV delivered 5 seamless event

Delivering a city-wide, multi-venue program takes experience, care, and coordination — and in 2025, PAV was entrusted to bring every detail together.

Our role included:

1. Full-Service Event Management

From logistics and safety to scheduling and stakeholder coordination, we managed the planning and execution of all five events — ensuring each ran like clockwork.

2. Long-Range Planning & On-Site Activation

Planning began nearly a year in advance, with final bump-in commencing five days before the events. With moving parts across multiple city locations, this event was all about the precision of experienced hands.

3. AV Production That Elevated Every Moment

Across staging, lighting, LED screens, sound, and vision — our AV and technical teams helped bring respectful storytelling and impact to each event. From dusk to dawn and beyond, every detail was thoughtfully delivered.

Commemorating in the Heart of Perth

Here’s how the commemorations unfolded across five powerful activations:

All-Abilities Sunset Service, Flame of Remembrance, Kings Park

A quieter, more accessible service for those with sensory needs, accessibility requirements, or shift work commitments.

Dawn Service, State War Memorial, Kings Park

Thousands gathered in silence to honour the fallen as the sun rose over Kings Park.

Gunfire Breakfast, Government House Gardens

A long-held post-service tradition that brought the community together in conversation and camaraderie – made even more special by a striking sea of handcrafted poppies adorning the gardens, lovingly knitted by volunteers as a tribute to those who served.

ANZAC Day March, St Georges Terrace

Veterans, current serving members, and community groups marched with pride through the heart of the city.

Mateship Lane, Irwin Street

A vibrant activation featuring food trucks, live entertainment, and stories that celebrated service, legacy, and connection.

“Working alongside the RSL is both an honour and a privilege – and one we take great pride in.”
– Lee Williams, General Manager, PAV

The Perth Backdrops That Helped Bring It All to Life

From the golden hues of dawn over Kings Park to the heritage charm of Government House, the city’s landmarks served as powerful backdrops for reflection and connection.

We designed every moment — from stage positioning and screen content to lighting and sound — to ensure the tone stayed respectful, heartfelt, and community-led.

A Collective Team Effort

It took ten months of planning, thousands of team hours, and seamless collaboration with the RSL, the City of Perth, and local veterans’ organisations to bring this delivery to life.

“This year has been a real positive stretch for everyone at PAV – and it’s great to see all our hard work come to fruition.” – Lee Williams, General Manager, PAV

We’re incredibly proud of what was achieved — and even prouder to have played a small role in honouring a moment that means so much to so many.

We will remember them. Lest we forget.
