The Latest“Forget fast fashion. This is what the future looks like.”
Held over two vibrant days at Yagan Square, the inaugural Circular Fashion Festival brought together boundary-pushing designers, First Nations creatives, and sustainability champions — all united by a shared mission to reshape the fashion industry through circular design and community collaboration.
PAV was proud to help bring this vision to life along with our partners, transforming the Yagan Square amphitheatre into an immersive, high-impact space where sustainability met style.

Project Highlights:
• Runway Reimagined: The Yagan Square amphitheatre was transformed into a dynamic circular catwalk, enhanced by bold LED, lighting and audio cues across both a night-time and day-time show.
• Setting the Scene: Yagan Square's 14m digital power projected festival visuals, inviting passers-by to experience the magic.
• An Event with Purpose: PAV’s technical expertise supported not just an event, but a movement — celebrating circularity, community and creative expression.
A runway with purpose
From immersive lighting, custom audio design, and the LED screen that tied it all together, PAV was proud to help bring the vision to life — collaborating with The Curated Wardrobe and event partners to shape the runway, designing a space that inspired.
“Thank you so much for all of you and your team's amazing work and energy over the Circular Fashion Festival weekend, you absolutely helped bring the event to life!” – Hazel Law, Director, The Curated Wardrobe
Why Circular Fashion?
In May 2024, Australia became the world’s largest consumer of textiles per capita — surpassing the US. Over 200,000 tonnes of fashion is binned locally each year, while over 1 million tonnes is exported offshore as waste.
The Circular Fashion Festival emerged in response to staggering figures like these, showcasing how conscious design and community can rewrite the story.

Celebrating WA Talent
The line-up included an inspiring mix of local talent — from First Nations brands Kirrikin, Deadly Denim and Jalayimia Swim, to regional designers Cassi-Jo Davis and Melaleuca Rise.
A stunning floral installation by Lara Rose-Bos of Botanical Stylist complemented PAV’s stage set-up, creating a layered design complete with florals, discoballs, shoes, and accessories.
